Our basis has always been high-quality beef, hung and tenderized in a traditional manner with known origin. The journey with this constantly creates new goals. Our mobile abattoir is our latest innovation. The goal is that by 2017 all meat from Hälsingestintan will be slaughtered directly at farms that are certified by us. We call it Ethical meat and it is clearly printed on the packaging.
Today, we deliver quality meat from the country’s top breeders to customers across the country. We think customers should eat ethical, high quality meat of Swedish origin that ensures biodiversity and the open landscape.
Our mission is simple – to offer Swedish quality meat to conscious consumers nationwide. If customers buy our meat they will know exactly where it comes from and who has bred the animal. In order to get a culinary experience beyond the ordinary we do not compromise at any stage.
But it is not expensive to produce this high quality meat? Well of course. But good food is not expensive, it is only slightly more expensive.
We cannot afford to fail, and we know there are many who agree with us and who want to join this journey. And we make it possible. Once a customer has tasted lovingly produced meat they also know; food with clear origin is culture and history. It is past, present and of course the future.
Consumers should have access to ethical quality meat. This is one of our main ambitions. Mobile abattoirs means that animals are not transported to slaughter. Instead, a mobile abattoir goes to the farm so that animals can be slaughtered in their home farm environment. This is a natural next step in the work to develop the future optimal chain of Swedish quality meat.
